Central American Wood Turtle or Painted Wood Turtle (Rhinoclemmys pulcherrima)

This male turtle was a poorly cared for pet. The unsymetrical yellowish areas are bacterial shell rot. These areas were cleaned out by an experienced rehabber. He was given injectable antibiotics and healed up fine. Later he was adopted by a GCTTS member.
