Central American Wood Turtle or Painted Wood Turtle (Rhinoclemmys pulcherrima)

This female turtle was a poorly cared for pet. The whitish areas are where bacterial shell rot was cleaned out by the rehabber. She was given injectable antibiotics and healed up fine. Later she was adopted by a GCTTS member.
