When an e-mail is addressed to News-L@gctts.org, the e-mail is sent to each address on the News list. The News list consists of all e-mail addresses from records in the members data table that have:

An E-Mail address

and

'Yes' in the e_mail_list field

The address list is generated by MLM from the members table at the time the e-mail to news-l@gctts.org is received.

Procmail address. Mail to this address, from one of the following addresses, goes to our News distribution list:

When an e-mail is addressed to news@gctts.org, the body of the e-mail is used to create a personalized e-mail message that is sent to each address on the News list. The News list consists of all e-mail addresses from records in the members data table that have:

An E-Mail address

'Yes' in the e_mail_list field

and

The subscribed field has a date

The address list is generated from the members table at the time the e-mail to news@gctts.org is received.

Do not attach anything to the e-mail - all information should be in the body of the e-mail. If you want to refer to a file, provide the link in the body of the e-mail, do not attach the file.

Procmail address. A picture attached to an e-mail to this address, from one of the following addresses, will be saved on our server:

marlaina@gctts.org

The picture will be saved to:

 /var/www/html/database-ro/adoption/images/<filename>

Where <filename> is the name of the attached file. Note that pre-existing files with the same name will be over-written.

postnews@gctts.org

Procmail address. Mail to this address adds the body of the mail to the top of the News listing that is available publicly at:

The mail must originate from one of the following addresses:

newsletter-l@gctts.org

Procmail address. Mail to this address is forwarded (complete with any attachments) to the e-mails on our Newsletter e-mail list.

This address will only accept mail from certain addresses.

file@gctts.org

Procmail address. Mail to this address will deposit any files attached to the message in the directory /var/www/html/files/ (unless the file already exists in which case the attempt fails silently).

president@gctts.org

Mail to this address is forwarded to the current GCTTS President.

secretary@gctts.org

Mail to this address is forwarded to the current GCTTS Secretary.
