GCTTS Educational Programs

The Gulf Coast Turtle and Tortoise Society offers educational and entertaining programs covering the natural history and conservation of turtles and tortoises, identification of native turtles, and information on the care of captive animals.

Our programs are offered free of charge to interested groups of 25 or more. The programs are offered in the greater Houston area.

Our programs can be tailored to your group's interest. We typically have slides along with live turtles and tortoises, and we encourage discussion both during and after the presentation. The animals may not be handled, but can be viewed closely in their containers. If your group, earth day event, scout troup, association, or library would like to learn more about turtles and tortoises, drop us a line at info@gctts.org.

To schedule a presentation, write us at GCTTS, 1227 Whitestone Ln, Houston, TX 77073 or send an e-mail to info@gctts.org.
