- Comma after 'chicken' in list at bottom of page 3.
- Change 'calcium ratio of excessive' to 'calcium ratio or excessive' at bottom of page 3.
- Space between '... known Wikis' and '(www.wikipedia.org, ...' on right hand column of page 7.
- Personal preference is for flush margins on right and left, rather than ragged right as currently formatted.
- Remove Deb Parrish from list of board members on page 5.
- Add somewhere: We are very pleased to have a new editor for the Newsletter, Kimberley Herrera. Please send items for the Newsletter to info@gctts.org.
- Add as a comment (in a small box?) to Ann Smylie's article on page 7: Editor's Note: Please research this throughly before attempting with your tortoises. It is imperative to not over heat or allow the temperature to drop too low for your species. Note that winters in Houston have been extremely mild, with temperatures seldom dropping below freezing. - Under the heading Earth Days and the box of events, take out "gives donation" under N. Harris county Earth days and add tentative to CEC earth day. Remove the number of volunteers needed, just make it general.
- Under the heading GCTTS meeting. edit to read: The next GCTTS meeting will be held at the Houston Arboretum and Nature Center on March 7, 2003, from 2-4 PM. This will be held in conjunction with the Urban Nature Series hosted by the Arboretum which is open to the public. It will be an informal meeting and include a question and answer session with GCTTS members and some displays of helpful plants for all species of turtle habitats. The Houston Arboretum and Nature Center is located at 4501 Woodway, just inside Loop 610, telephone 713-681-8433.
- Other events. somewhere, somehow add that Julie Young will be the speaker for the HSPCA.
- Finding a Reptile Vet, plese remove my name, Marlaina Barr as author. If my name is not removed, I prefer treasurer only go with treasury related articles/submissions, and member, director, board member, or something more general be used. But I really do not like my name on articles unless absolutely necessary.
- Separate "iscurrently" in last paragraph of Vet finding article
- At end of Ann Smylie's article change rebars to rebar - the plural does not have an s at the end.
- Under requirements for adoption. Please remove kiddie ponds from the article. Add deep in front of the word stock tanks.
- Treasury report - replace "for the year" with "for the 12 months ended"
- On our membership form under volunteer opportunities, add telephone committe, add mailing information, add copying, add data input (or something that applies to typing things up that we have so they are available on the computer), add forms, labels design. Remove email assistance
